Dr. Charlene Haynes began to practice optometry in 1990 and opened her own practice and Optical Salon in 1996 providing the highest level of eye care and customer service as well as having one of the most exclusive selections of fine eyewear in San Antonio. Growing her practice through satisfied patient referrals, Dr. Charlene Haynes has been recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Companies from the San Antonio Business Journal for three years in a row.

Due to growth and demand, in 2008 Dr. Haynes custom built a new and larger location allowing for the most cutting edge testing and eye care equipment as well as exclusive eyewear housed in a comfortable, luxurious environment.

A full range of progressive ophthalmic services are facilitated by an extraordinary group of highly experienced staff working together to provide world class service.

Dr. Charlene Haynes

Dr. Haynes grew up in Houston, TX and is a graduate of Texas A&M and the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. In 1990 she began practicing optometry and opened her own practice in 1996 and has successfully been serving the San Antonio community since then.

Dr. Haynes is one out of only 3,000 Optometrists in the United States to have earned the prestigious status of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometrists

Dr. Haynes has special expertise in contact lens fittings and ocular disease diagnosis and treatment. Her long time patients praise Dr. Haynes on her professionalism and expertise in her field.

When not in the office, Dr. Haynes enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with her family including her Cavalier, Annie.

	Katherine Feldman Katherine has worked with Dr. Haynes for almost 12 years. She and her husband Brad have two wonderful boys, Josh and Elijah. Although the entire staff is cross-trained, Kat's "specialty" is pre-testing with each patient as well as frame-styling and filing insurance. Katherine is an Independent Distributer for Premier Designs Jewelry and loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys scrapbooking and other crafts.
	Jackie Palmer Jackie has been with Dr. Haynes for 19 years. Her "specialty" is managing the Optical Salon including frame buying and frame styling. She and her husband, Hans, have two beautiful daughters, Lexi and Lauren. They just added new yorkipoo puppies to their family, Max and Molly. Jackie enjoys all forms of art and reading.
	Michelle Pitre Michelle has worked for Dr. Haynes for 4 years. Her "specialty" is that she is extremely knowledgeable and adept at the formulation of spectacle lenses. She and her husband, Brandon, are expecting their first child in February. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her two boxers, Shelby and Samson and has a passion for interior design.
